If you are a working parent you probably agree with me that finding good, reliable childcare is really important. My children are still relatively young but I think it’s crucial for them to keep active and be involved in sport activities. This is why I was really pleased when Fit for Sport got in touch and asked if we’d like to review one of their summer activity camps.
Their Activity Camps run every school holiday at over 100 venues across the country for children aged 4-12 and they are designed to engage all children through multi-sports, games and arts & crafts. With child obesity being such a big problem, physical activity is really important and I want my children to be sporty and healthy.
As parents are really busy these days, and with the added draw of mobiles, tablets and TVs it can be difficult to re-connect with our children in a meaningful way through play. I find my children spend a bit too much time sitting in from of the TV after school so we now do a no TV evening once a week. Our no TV day is great as we play together, do jigsaws, colouring or we play games together.

I can confidently say that my children are well travelled. We usually fly to Spain a few times a year, so they know what to expect and they are pretty happy on a plane. As you read this we will be sunning ourselves in the Canary Islands, so I thought I’d do a post about flying with children and what we take on a plane journey.
My boys have a LittleLife trolley bag each. These bags are very cute, they are not huge inside, but so far they’ve done a good job for us. I always make sure they boys have these things packed in their bags:
Most Superheroes have always been male, apart from Wonder Woman and Cat Woman I can’t truly remember any other female ones but things are a bit different these days. DC Entertainment’s latest animated series features a dynamic group of Super Heroes on their journey of discovering the power of their unique abilities and friendships.
I don’t know your children but mine need constant entertainment, we can never have a quiet weekend, we always have to do something, we are always on the go. This is great in the summer or in spring but not as great in winter when all you want is a quiet weekend in.
Saturday was freezing but we thought we’d go to farm near us that has a few small animals, a soft play and a big playground. The boys were not 100% well, they both had colds but they still wanted to spend most of the time in the playground.
