Welcome to a new series on my blog, a weekly round up where I will give you a bit of an insight into my week, what I’ve been getting up to and hopefully you will get to know me a bit better.
At the moment we are getting into week 7 of a loft extension and after being without a roof for about 5 weeks things are finally moving and progressing pretty quickly. I knew having some building work would be stressful but didn’t realise it was going to be this stressful! I guess working full time and not being in the house during the day makes things more complicated. You never know if the builders are around and you are not in to discuss any changes or issues. A couple of months ago I wrote a review about the Olympus Pen E-PL7, (you can read it here) and I really wanted to follow it up with another post on accessories.
I am by no means an expert on this, but I’ve had the Olympus Pen for nearly a year now so I have done a bit of research on different bits and pieces to go with it. Of course there are a lot of other accessories, especially on the official Olympus page, but I thought it’d put a list together of my favourite ones.
The Olympus Pen E-PL7 is the camera of the moment, very popular not only with bloggers but also with photography fans. I purchased the Olympus Pen E-PL7 with the pancake lens back in November after doing a lot of research online. I own a of Nikon DSLR camera but I wanted something a bit smaller that I could take with me on days out.
I am really a city girl but I can appreciate how lovely it is having open spaces nearby, especially now that I have children. I am lucky that even though I live in London I really have the countryside at my doorstep.
We have some woods near us that look beautiful at the moment and this is a great time to see the bluebells in full bloom. We have been visiting the same spot for the past couple of years but it seems that this time the word is out and the spot is getting busier and busier.
I took this picture earlier on this week in Spain with my Olympus camera. I used the Olympus art filter set and whilst I know these type of pictures are not everybody’s cup of tea as they look heavy manipulated / filtered I just love the results.
This really captures the mood of the day, it was cold, had been raining and the sea was quite rough.
